Dr. Grant Stevens

Breast reduction surgeon Dr. Grant Stevens' patients call him an artist — and rightfully so. Dr. Stevens pioneered the innovative Stevens Laser Bra breast lift and the laser-assisted breast reduction. He is equally respected by his peers in the medical community, having been named one of America's Best Physicians in "The Guide to Top Doctors." In addition, Dr. Stevens was appointed to the Medical Board of California Medical Quality Review Board by the governor. He has also received The Distinguished Service Citation from The Medical Board of California, the Special Congressional Certificate of Recognition and the California State Assembly and California State Senate Certificate of Recognition.

Dr. Stevens currently serves as the Medical Director of Plastic Surgery Associates in Marina del Rey and Palos Verdes. He is also past Co-Director of The Breast Center and past Chairman of the Liposuction Committee at Daniel Freeman Marina Hospital, as well as a staff member at St. John's Medical Center and the Marina Outpatient Surgery Center.

Dr. Stevens is a Board Certified Diplomate of The American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and The International College of Surgeons. His memberships in other medical associations include The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, The International College of Surgeons, The American College of Surgeons, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Stevens has lectured before numerous international, national and regional associations including The American Association of Plastic Surgeons, The Swiss Plastic Surgery Society, and the Danish Plastic Surgery Society. He is also regularly invited to teach at such prestigious institutions as The University of Switzerland, The University of Denmark, the University of Southern California, and Loma Linda University. Dr. Stevens himself graduated with honors from Washington University Medical School in St. Louis. He completed his general surgery training at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, then completed a Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Washington University- Barnes Hospital.

As one of the nation's premier breast reduction surgeons, Dr. Stevens has authored a number of articles for professional journals, as well as appearing in articles written for USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, People Magazine, Forbes, Glamour, Business Week, Men's Fitness, to name a few. He has also publicly appeared on CNN, Discovery, MSNBC, The Learning Channel, Discovery, CBS News, Leeza, and many other TV and radio shows.

As an accomplished breast reduction surgeon, Dr. Stevens prides himself on providing his patients with the finest personalized care and the highest quality surgical techniques available.


Dr. David Stoker

Dr. Stoker is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. In 2005 he was chosen by The New York Times, in the The New York Times Style Magazine, as one of the top cosmetic plastic surgeons in the nation with special mention of his experience in liposuction, tummy tucks and breast surgery. Dr. Stoker teaches the course on liposuction and body contouring for his colleagues at the annual meetings of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the clinical faculty of the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Stoker graduated with honors from Stanford University where he majored in biology and political science. At Stanford he was awarded the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Major Grant for Undergraduate Research. Dr. Stoker studied medicine at the University of California at San Francisco where he graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. During medical school Dr. Stoker was actively involved in plastic surgery research and was awarded a first place prize by the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation.

Dr. Stoker did his residency in General Surgery at the New York University Medical Center with Department Chairman Frank C. Spencer, M.D. There he received the British Journal of Surgery Award for the highest score in the department on the National In-Service Training Exam. Dr. Stoker completed his residency in Plastic Surgery at the prestigious Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the NYU School of Medicine. He was trained in plastic surgery by Drs. Joseph McCarthy, Sherrell Aston, Daniel Baker, and the distinguished faculty of the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.

Dr. Stoker has authored a dozen publications on state of the art cosmetic surgery topics. These include distinguished plastic surgery journal articles on cosmetic facial, breast and body contouring procedures. It also includes authoring the chapter, "Liposuction And Body Contouring," in one of the premier textbooks on plastic surgery. Dr. Stoker has been nationally recognized for his research in power-assisted liposuction and the anatomy of the facial nerve as it relates to facelifts. Dr. Stoker's pioneering research with power-assisted liposuction, the safest and most effective lipoplasty method available, contributed to a major advance in the field of body contouring.

The television media has recognized Dr. Stoker's expertise in cosmetic surgery. The Dr. Phil show chose Dr. Stoker to be their plastic surgery expert on a program involving a wide range of cosmetic surgery procedures. Dr. Stoker has also been featured on The Learning Channel for cosmetic nose surgery, and The Discovery Health Channel, where Dr. Stoker demonstrated his work in body contouring with tummy tucks and power-assisted liposuction.

Dr. Stoker is extremely well trained in all facets of cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. He is on the plastic surgery staff at Saint John's Health Center, Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center, Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Centers, and the Marina Outpatient Surgery Center.
