The staff at Marina Plastic Surgery is welcoming and highly experienced. Our attending nurses — Maria, Patrice and Tami — offer more than 30 years of combined service to the practice. They assist the doctors in pre- and post-operative care. Our anesthesiologists are certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, and are trained and certified in advanced cardiac life support. Our most senior patient coordinators, Charlie and Christi, also offer a wealth of experience, and they, along with our other skilled patient care coordinators, will help to organize every aspect of your visit. Meet the Staff

Charlie Sheridan Director Charlie joined our practice in 1988. She studied business as well as design from Santa Monica College and UCLA. Her creativity, entrepreneurial and leadership skills have greatly contributed to the expansion and success of the company. Charlie coordinates all patient-relation functions, business operations, public relations, and sales and marketing efforts. Her passion for the medical/aesthetics industry is a perfect match for this professional who thrives in an innovative, cutting-edge organization.

	Lindsey Poag Assistant to Director, Patient Advocate Lindsey Poag has been in the Aesthetic Industry since 1999. Lindsey brings with her an extensive background of knowledge in medical skin care services and cosmeceutical products. In addition to her responsibilities as Assistant to the Director, she is also a Patient Advocate helping clients with coordinating appointments and surgeries. She will be there to answer any questions you may have before and after your procedure, ensuring that your experience at MPSA is positive and enjoyable!
	Christi Carni Patient Coordinator for Dr. Stoker Christi has been with Marina Plastic Surgery Associates since 2001. She works directly with Dr. Stoker and his patients. She will be your advocate throughout and work closely with you both before and after surgery. Christi is a trained professional with over ten years experience in Medical Administration and a bachelor's degree in Business. She is always at your service for questions and concerns. She believes in Dr. Stoker's expertise and has family members and friends as his happy patients.
	Christina Viquez Front Office Manager Christina is one of the first employees to greet you when arriving at Marina Plastic Surgery. Her cheery face and warm smile will make you feel at ease when checking in for your appointment. She is a graduate from the University of California, Irvine and is currently attending Mount St. Mary’s College in order to obtain her R.N. licensure. With her more than 10 years of experience in various customer service settings, you are sure to feel valued and comfortable in Christina's care! She is always pleasant and happy to help you in any way that she can, as her top priority is to assist and serve our clients.
	Erica Mayfield Check-Out Administrator Erica assists all clients during the check-out process. Erica attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She has been in the plastic surgery industry for over 10 years. She is here to ensure that you have had exceptional service and care, your purchases are completed, and that your next appointment is scheduled. Erica is usually the last friendly face you will see before you leave our office.
	Shayla Griffith Administrative Specialist Shayla has been in the cosmetic field since 2006. She works the executive hours at the front desk in addition to working in the back office, assisting staff and patients. Her positive attitude and welcoming personality help to make our clients feel comfortable and at-home in our office. Shayla's customer service will exceed your expectations.
	Casey Howard Front Desk Associate Casey Howard is one of our front desk associates and assists all patients checking-in. She has been involved in the beauty industry for over 5 years and is passionate about this field. She holds an Associates Degree in Business, a Certification in Massage Therapy from the Healing Arts and Sciences Institute, and is currently working towards a Bachelors degree in Recreation Therapy. Casey is a compassionate and dedicated employee, and is always available and eager to assist clients.
	Maria Acevedo Registered Nurse Maria has been with Marina Plastic Surgery Associates Medical Corporation since 1989. Most of her time is spent with post-operative patients and patient education. She is also the Clinical Nurse coordinator for the FDA regulated clinical breast implant studies in our office. Maria has a Master's Degree in Nursing from USC. She enjoys working with patients and directing them through a positive surgical experience as well as the many other services we provide.
	Patrice Taylor Registered Nurse Patrice has been with Marina Plastic Surgery Associates Medical Corporation since 1995. She specializes in preoperative preparation of patients for surgery and postoperative care. She is a registered nurse with an associate in science degree. Having graduated from Bergen Community College in 1975, Patrice has enjoyed many different areas of medicine, but specifically loves the Plastic Surgery field.
	Tami Greiner Registered Nurse Tammy joined Marina Plastic Surgery Associates in 2002. Her skills as a laser technician are unsurpassed due to her extensive experience. As one of our staff nurses, she is primarily dedicated to Dr. Stoker's patients while also coordinating and providing a cross section of laser services for our clientele. She has an associates degree in Nursing from Santa Monica College.
	Elina Garcia Certified Medical Assistant Elina works in our practice to assist the needs of Cory Felber and Carla Lovato, our Physician Assistants. She will prepare for your visit in such a way, that you feel confident and well cared for. Her genuine compassion and sunny disposition, provide an atmosphere of comfort that patients desire, and deserve! Elina's effervescent and bubbly spirit, combined with her dedicated professionalism, adds up to one Medical Assistant that is truly an asset to our company.
	Jessica Palomares Administrative Assistant and Insurance Coordinator Jessica has been with Marina Plastic Surgery since 2000. She serves as an insurance coordinator in the billing department and will graciously be your personal liaison for all insurance-related matters! Jessica is the key contact person at Marina Plastic Surgery for obtaining the maximum benefits from your insurance carrier.
	Viviana Corona Bookkeeper We are proud to have Viviana Corona as our corporate bookkeeper and accounting manager. She has been with our practice since 2007, and plans on a long future with our company. Viviana's education began in Brazil and was completed in the United States at UCLA. She continues to attend courses to further her education in finance management. We consider her to be a huge asset to our company.
	Lilia Shvartsman Medical Aesthetician, Certified Cosmetic and Reconstructive Permanent Makeup Artist Lilia has been with Marina Plastic Surgery Associates since 1999. She has specialized in aesthetic permanent artistry and skin care for over 21 years. Her educational background began with a Premier Art School in the Ukraine and her education was completed in New York City. Her innate artistic abilities are exceptionally present with her permanent make-up and tattooing talents. Following Art School, Lilia began to train in aesthetics, and found her true passion was a combination of both worlds - beauty and art -- making her a great example of what our industry has to offer!
	Rachael Martinez Medical Aesthetician and Body Contouring Technician Rachael works in our practice as a licensed medical aesthetician and body contouring technician. In addition, she assists our nurses and surgeons with daily functions. Rachael is very dedicated when it comes to improving patients’ overall appearance and thrives on making people feel more confident. She is very hard-working individual and a strong asset to our practice.
	Ann Yacullo Clinical Aesthetician Ann Yacullo has been a clinical aesthetician for almost 18 years.  She was educated in Chicago and became licensed in the state of California in 1994. With nearly 20 years of experience, she has been trained by many highly-respected, very successful professionals in this industry. She is passionate about skin care and helping her clients achieve amazing results.  By combining her extensive background in clinical ingredients, together with the latest technical advances, she is able to personalize a successful custom regimen for every client.  Ann is committed to being the highest example of health and beauty — both for her customers, and for herself.
